My name is Crystal Hammond. My husband and I are stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. We have two wonderful children who could really use help with a Christmas. My daughter is Lexie and she is 5, my son Brandon is 13. Right now my husband is due to deploy between now and Feb. 08. He is in the training area of this transition right now, so he of course is working a lot a late nights, and we are seeing him less, but THANK the LORD we still see him. The children are aware of his upcoming deployment and we are just praying he has this Christmas with us. If he does, this will be the first in three years together on Christmas Day. I really wish for them to at least have something they really want and have asked for. My daughter wants a handheld leapster (pink) and my son would like the Madden 08 Football. They both could use some long sleeve shirts and my daughter some jeans. Currently she does not have a warm coat, just some sweaters to wear for right now. She likes Barbie and Baby Bratz. My son is into almost anything. Anything at this point is fine with them, they are not picky. My husband and I have had a few car repairs and we are currently having to pay some attorney fees for our current vehicle. We still owe them $277.00, which is going to take away from our children's Christmas. The children are not picky and would just love to have a Christmas. If anyone can help with anything at all that will be GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS to you all and Mr. Mealey for supporting our troops. Happy Holidays to you all and JESUS IS THE REASON!!! God Bless, Crystal Hammond
