Ft. Stewart, Ga



I am writitng to see what I need to do to ask for assistance 
for the thanksgiving and christmas holiday?  My name is 
Dee and my husband chris have been in the military for 6 
years now.  We were recently compassionetly reassigned 
to Fort Stewart due to back surgery i had a few months ago,
I broke my back in three places.  We have 4 children ages 
11-15,all boys except my oldest who is a girl.  Before we
left germany for good we spent 4 months in a hotel
 recovering from surgery because military wouldnt put us 
in housing which took all our savings and now they say
 they wont pay us back.  We are on the verge of loosing our
 car and other things because lack of money is not there 
anymore.  There is a huge difference in pay from overseas
 and stateside and now that i am unable to work. My husband 
was also injured with stress fractures in 6 places and has had 
a heart attack he is still recovering from. My three boys still
 believe in santa and I dont know how to tell them santa will 
not be coming this year.  And for thanksgiving we will be
 lucky to have hotdogs.  i also need some major dental work 
done but cant afford this either.So if there is anyone out there 
who can help us!  please help this military family in need and
