My name is Brenda and I am a 33 year
old wife of SPC Tony McKinney serving
 in the United States Army at Fort 
Hood Texas. This is his 2 Christmas 
in a row now home with the kids and 
3rd overall. We have one girl to be 
11 on December 18th, one girl who is 
5, and a son who is 2. His is the 
only income in the household at the 
moment as I am unable to work right
now because our son has Sickle Cell 
Disease. Things are pretty tight right
now and we are unable to get the kids 
what they want and most of what they
need for Christmas. If there is anyone
out there that has it in their hearts 
to help us then you will  truly be 
blessed by God.
 
The children don't ask for much but
I see how their faces light up when
they see something that they really
really like, I just want to be able
to see that same look on Christmas 
morning . My 10 year old also has a
birthday the week before Christmas 
and it has always been hard but I 
try and make her birthday just as 
special as I make my other two kids 
birthday special. I never want her 
to think that her birthday is never
special or important to me. So if 
you are reading this and find it in 
your heart to help us out I would 
truly be grateful and my children 
will certainly be happy too. Merry
