Well, The weather is still awesome, and been breaking records 90 is typical and its DAMN HOT! The days are beautiful but we could do with a little rain. Soon we will end up with water restrictions again at this rate!Well things are uneventful, friend is moving back from up north. Couldn't find work and decided may as well be back home. I know the job market is very tough for those without a job and those that have one are worried they may not have one for long. Many employers are holding off on the hires thinking if war breaks out business will slump. They may be right but can we afford to have yet more people unemployed? Things are pretty bad as is. Guess the thing to do is to think of better things and be optimistic.
I suspect that Saddam won't be giving in , so come the 17th Im pretty sure the President will be doing a broadcast stating that we will go in and disarm him. I don't see a problem with that, I just dislike the idea of our men being in harms way over this asshole. Hopefully all will be well and the thing will be over quickly. Im more optimistyic when it comes to the Arab states making a big deal of it. In fact, I believe when they see the might and quickness of the action I suspect a lot of them will keep some of the rhetoric to themselves. Only the diehard clerics and terrorists with agendas will try to stir up the population against the US. But as long as its just talk , we have nothing to be concerned with. With Alqueda's forces depleting and a major strike in IRAQ many of them will be thinking twice and crwal under their rocks. So much for my political commentary. I don't make a habit of it.
Our Military men need action this waiting will wear them down! Got a lot done today and hopefully there is a turn around in my financial future. I can only hope and wish for the best. Meanwhile Ill keep plugging along and be as inventive as I can. Was trying to make a calendar of my dogs pictures but couldnt find a program (FREE) that would allow me to make one and then have people download it for a minimal price. Guess I have to keep trying till I find one. Sasha did get out the other day when I was working in the garden, didnt lock the front door and the wind blew it open. When I went inside to get something cold to drink no Sasha,I went out the street to call her and I saw her two blocks away strutting her stuff crossing to the next street. Fortunately she came right away when I called her. Aparently she didnt see me when I was working in the front, she came out the side door. Ill be sure to lock it next time. She is pretty good but boy does she like to go for walks around the neighborhood.
Wow, Where were these guys when I was in the military! Well don't have much to add right now , so Ill leave you to ponder your thoughts. Life indeed is a bit harder these days. But I have to make do somehow. But Ive got to tell ya its been hell of late and being all alone is no fun either. Well thats it for now.
