#328 10/18/2008 Camp Pendleton, Ca Hello, my name is Lindsey and my husband (Christopher) just deployed to Iraq and we seem to be still having financial difficulties concerning past/overdue bills. Within the past 3 years we have moved over 3 times due to the military. The last move we did was because we were able receive base housing and so we moved out of an apartment we lived in, for about 4 months. Every time we move it seems we fall even more into a hole. We have past due bills from our previous apartment that are threatening to report us to the credit agencies. In trying to keep them from sending us to the credit agency I have been limiting money in other areas such as proper clothing for my children and even grocery money. Now that it is around the holiday season I am having to find other resources in need of help. I am a stay at home mother/student, of two and now a single mother of two until my husband returns next year. One of the bills we need help with is the utility bill which is $301.00. I would be grateful for any help, gas cards, food certificates, anything. It has been an extreme mental and physical struggle, for both my husband and I, and would really like to take as much stress of my husband as possible due to his circumstances. This year I would be grateful to give my children an actual Christmas due to us not having much of a Christmas for 3 years now. I thank you for you time and thoughts.
