This new feature will hopefully give a little more insight.
No, this is not an advice column! I'd be giving out far too much advice that I don't follow myself. Here is what this is for:
If you wish, you may submit a question using the form below, and each week I will answer some of them and post them on the site. These Q & A's will form a secondary FAQ for newcomers to the site.
As an example of how the output on the site will be, and to answer questions about how this will work, I offer the following "pre-FAQ." This will probably be amended as this feature gets underway.
Q: How often will you answer the questions and post them?
A: I would guess about once a week. It will depend on the volume and variety of questions I receive.

Q: How many questions will you answer at once?
A: This will depend on the depth of the questions. It may be as few as 8 or as many as 20.

Q: In what order will you answer the questions?
A: I will try to answer them in the order I receive them, with the exception of duplicates. Similar questions will also be grouped or merged together to reduce redundancy.

Q: Will you post who asked the questions?
A: No. That will remain confidential.

Q: What types of questions will you not answer?
A: Any questions that are already clearly answered on the site in the old FAQ or the About Me sections will be ignored. I will also have to make personal judgments on questions of a sensitive or personal nature and others that I feel uncomfortable answering in public. These might include, but might not be limited to: questions about my mental state and background, about my family, about another person that would be better directed to that person and not myself, or about anything personal that might threaten my security (names, addresses, etc.). Rude or rudely stated questions will probably not be considered.

Q: What types of questions would I ask?
A: Anything you feel doesn't fall under the categories listed above is fair game, whether it requires a simple one word answer (please submit some of those) or a more lengthy one. If you aren't sure whether it's appropriate, submit it anyway. I cannot guarantee that it will be answered, but it might be worth the shot.

A: It could be a permanent feature, if people can think up new questions on a consistent basis.
