I assume you have some basic computer skills and that you already have your camera, quickcam or vicam etc installed following the manufacturers instructions, if this is all beyond your abilities either myself or one of the other cam guys can hand-hold you through it!
Download the unregistered version of WebCam32 by clicking here or if you're sure you want to do this go to www.kolban.com/webcam32 and pay the $25 for the registered version. The unregistered version has a timer that requires you to restart the software every hour.
Run the webcam32.exe to instal the software, there is a users guide here: User's Guide
Once installed you can select your (installed) camera driver from the "file" menu and assuming your cam is turned on you will see an image!
You need to set the format of your image to 320x240 pixels, this is done from the "settings", "format" menu and the specific option will depend on your camera.
FTP or File Transfer Protocol, is simply a way of getting an image from your computer to the server every 30 seconds - we use FTP for the cams and the Member cams.
In webcam go to the "settings", "ftp" menu and enter the following:
FTP Server: ftp.adusa.com
FTP UserID: The user name provided by me
FTP Password: The password provided by me
Directory: global
File Name: name1.jpg
Upload Interval: 30sec
Save Count: 0
Check the enabled box
Width: 120, Height: 90, Name Extension: Thumb (This is for your preview picture)
Click OK!
That's it unless you have a cable modem if you have a Cable Modem or other High Speed Connection:
We use TCP/IP for the streaming cams, the following applies to WebCam Version 5.0.3.1 and earlier see below for version 5.0.5 and newer

Single Frame Port: 82 & check the "Enabled" Box

Maximum push interval: 0
Maximum Push Size: 0
Frame Delay: 0 (You may want to set this to 5000 or 1000, 5 or 10 seconds, if your cam is under heavy load!
In WebCam go to "settings", "tcp/ip" and enter the
following:
Check Single Frame Enabled Box
Check Aplet Enabled Box
Check Server Push Enabled Box
Set Remote access port to 8888
Maximum push interval: 0
Maximum Push Size: 0
Frame Delay: 0 (You may want to set this to 5000 or 1000, 5 or 10 seconds, if your cam is under heavy load)!
OK that's it now you need to email me the following info:
Your IP address if using a cable modem
If you have any problems I can walk you through all this in ten minutes on the phone ;)
