SALISBURY, N.C. – More than 700 Ahold Delhaize USA associates are volunteering in communities across the country through the ADUSA Cares Fall Day of Service. Held during Hunger Action Month, the annual initiative includes more than 35 volunteer projects, over 2,000 volunteer hours and charitable donations to nonprofit partners working to address food insecurity and strengthen local communities.

Associates from Ahold Delhaize USA's seven U.S. support office locations are partnering with food banks, community farms and nonprofit organizations through hands-on service projects that support local hunger-relief efforts. Activities include sorting food donations, working in community gardens, assembling care packages and supporting other initiatives that help expand access to food resources in the communities these organizations serve.
